FAQ

Which planter suits a balcony?

An honest answer to the question everybody asks first, and the measurements worth checking before you order.

Ordering and delivery

What does delivery cost and how long does it take?

Free on orders of ₹999 and above, otherwise a flat ₹49 anywhere in India. We pack within 1-2 business days in Indore and transit runs 3-9 business days — 2-4 business days to a metro, 4-9 business days further out. Door to door, plan for 3-6 business days to a metro address and 5-10 business days elsewhere.

How can I pay?

UPI in advance, or Cash on Delivery. Cards are not accepted — no credit card payments, no debit card payments, and no PayPal.

How do I track my order?

A tracking link is emailed and texted to you on the day of dispatch. Courier scans can lag a day, especially over a weekend.

Returns and problems

Can I return something I have changed my mind about?

Yes, within 10 days of delivery, provided it is unused and still in its original packaging with the invoice. Full conditions are on the Refund and Returns Policy page.

What if it arrives broken or does not work?

Film the unboxing, then tell us within 48 hours. We replace it or refund it in full and we pay the return shipping. To be clear about what that is: a replacement route for an item that arrived damaged or dead, not a six-month or manufacturer warranty, and we do not claim to offer one.

What to check before you order

Do these pots come with drainage holes?

Most do, and each listing states it. Where a pot ships closed, as cachepots and some decorative glazes do, the listing says that as well, so you can plan on an inner nursery pot instead of drilling a finished surface.

How heavy is a planter once it is filled?

Considerably heavier than the empty weight printed on the carton. Damp potting mix runs roughly 1.2 to 1.5 kg per litre, so a 20-litre pot can pass 25 kg with the pot included. Check what your railing or balcony floor is rated for before choosing the largest size.

Will these hold up in full sun and monsoon rain?

The plastic and resin pots we list for outdoor use are UV-stabilised and drain freely. Glazed ceramic is listed as outdoor only where the maker states it, and unglazed terracotta darkens and may craze after a wet season, which is normal ageing rather than a fault.

Can a heavy ceramic pot sit on a parapet?

We would not put one there. A glazed pot on an open ledge is a falling risk in wind, and the listing says so. Heavy ceramics belong on the floor or on a stand with a wide base, and lighter plastic or resin is the sensible choice for railing planters. Each listing states which category the item falls into.
